happy monday!

Mondays are tough. Stating the obvious, right? But they seem to be especially tough once you have children. Take for instance this past weekend. I spent two full days with my little man where I was consumed by his giggles, kisses and, well, drool. Could not have been better.

And then Monday morning comes and I’m once again rushing around the house like a mad woman trying to get him fed, dressed and out the door to daycare so I can make my hour long commute into work. Fast forward to the end of the day and I’m rushing home to get an hour’s worth of time with him (if I’m lucky) before he heads to bed.

I love what I do and I don’t really have the luxury, ahem, finances to stay at home. I just can’t get over the mommy guilt. I know I’m not alone, we’re all just trying to do the best we can. But it’s funny how such a little person (though, he is 18 lbs now!) can make such a difference in your plan. Priorities have changed that is for sure.

But seeing this face at the end of the day sure makes it all worth it…

So, here’s to Monday!
